Privacy Policy
1. What We Collect
When you purchase a subscription or start a trial, we collect:
- Email address (via payment processor or your GitHub account)
- GitHub account ID and login when you sign in with GitHub
- License key associated with your order or trial
- Daily API call counts (anonymous, stored locally on your machine)
We do not collect your source code, file contents, or any code you analyze with Sarix.
2. How We Use It
- To deliver your license key after purchase or GitHub sign-in
- To validate your subscription or trial status
- To enforce daily API call limits and one trial per account
3. Third-Party Services
- Paddle — payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- GitHub — OAuth sign-in for trial accounts. We request your public profile and email only.
- Cloudflare Workers — backend API hosting
- Turso — license key and account database
4. Data Retention
License keys and associated email addresses are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation.
5. Your Rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will remove your license key and associated email from our database within 30 days.
6. Security
License keys are stored encrypted. API keys are stored in your system keyring, never on our servers.
